alli & drew ~ boise wedding photography
Would you like to hear their story? They’re high school sweet-hearts, graduated, separated, and then they went off to college. They reunited fell back in love, got engaged and set their wedding date for August 4th 2013 a year in advance. They couldn’t wait, however, to say their vows so they eloped. This is their reception.
Alli’s mom is my son, Luke’s, speech therapist. I love her and it was a treat to be invited to her home and meet her family, all of whom flew in from all parts of the world (even Italy!), and share in the celebration of Alli & Drew’s marriage.
A long trip from New York, tired and jet lagged, but so cute and happy.
This is a “tweener” a shot taken in between shots. They are always my favorite. There is always one who runs off.
So tired! So sweet.
Sees candies!!! I wonder if Lori knew these were my favorite??? I wanted to pop one in my mouth as I was taking the detail shots, but I know how I am with candy and they’d be gone in two minutes flat and there would be evidence that I was the culprit all over my face and clothes. So, I kept a safe distance.
I love the trend of multiple wedding cakes.
A succulent in a martini glass…classy!
As I was photographing the party I saw this sweet little face. She had fallen the day before requiring stitches in her brow. She traveled all the way from Italy!
Bacon on a stick!
I love photographing people taking pictures. That’s what occasions like this are all about, people coming together, friendships reunited, family reunions and pictures!!! I love it.
The happy couple!!!
A father’s toast. It was beautiful…
